Fall Decor Finds
I get stupid excited about the change in seasons. I’m not at the level of wearing riding boots despite it still being 80 degrees in my city, but I’ve definitely been lighting cozy candles each evening.
Because I’m laser-focused on minimizing STUFF around here, I’m not buying much new for autumn. We’re still getting settled in this house (we’ve been here for just over 18 months), figuring out how we live best here and organizing, so I definitely don’t want to go all out on seasonal decor and learn down the line that something doesn’t work for us.
I tend to shy away from stuff that’s too over-the-top or kitschy, but if I WAS going to drop some cash money like falling leaves, here’s what I’d be creeping on.
Target Orange Dried Door Wreath
Our front door is painted blue (somewhere between cobalt and navy) and a vibrant orange wreath would really stand out.
Kirkland’s Items
Unfortunately none of the items on Kirkland’s site have hi-res photos that will show up nicely here. They have a really cool vibe for autumn though, incorporating buffalo check patterns and muted blues and greens. It’s a great alternative to the traditional orange and yellow colors we see so often.

World Market Birch Bark iFlicker Flameless LED Flicker Candle
I love these birch bark flicker candles. They feel seasonally appropriate and lend a rustic touch to a space, even if you can’t go full Fixer Upper.
While you could certainly use this year-round, I love the sentiment for this time of year. There’s so much emphasis on both entertaining and gratitude, and this perfectly marries the two.
I’m not super into pillows or art with quotes, but this one is refined and could work from September through November.
All of these items are subtle enough to give your home some added warmth and texture for this beautiful season! We are likely hosting my mom’s family for Thanksgiving brunch and I might keep an eye on that Kirkland’s centerpiece 😉
Have you found any great sources for holiday decor besides the obvious ones included above?
